Case Summary

Nothing in Dead Rising is level-gated. The only wall is the clock: seventy-two hours, ticking in real time, and every case has a window that closes whether you are standing there or not. Play it like a photographer on a deadline. Rescuing survivors and shooting good photos both pay far more PP than swinging at zombies, and your level and PP carry across restarts, so a run that falls apart is never truly wasted. Weapons break, but the right book buffs multiply how long the good ones last, so stack them and never drop a Small Chainsaw. Learn the Maintenance Tunnels early; they are the fast lane under the mall. The mall’s other tenants are not all friendly, and the psychopaths keep their own schedule, so read the clock before you commit. What Frank is really chasing in here is the scoop. ⚡ How to read the Cases

Each case shows its Trigger (a clock time for chapter openers, or the case before it) and what it leads to, so the whole 72-hour chain is visible. Rescues and threats are pinned to the case whose time window they fall in: 🆘 survivors and 💀 psychopaths tick here or on their own tab, the same checkbox either way, counted once.
