Soulslike Series · Solo · Advance Acid Spear
Bloodborne meets Sekiro — aggressive, but built on the perfect guard. Here's the systems primer and an Advance spear setup that melts bosses while keeping you at safe range.
Krat is a beautiful city gone feral, and its puppets have turned on their masters. From Hotel Krat you cut through Elysion Boulevard, the Cathedral, the Opera House and Arche Abbey, felling every boss and gathering every Legion Arm, until the truth of the puppets — and your own — comes undone. First Hours is the spoiler-light systems primer and Advance-spear setup; Full Progression is the spoiler-structured walkthrough with every boss, Stargazer and missable, base game plus the Overture DLC; Leveling is the Advance stat plan. Every tick saves on this device as you go.
Pick Path of the Cricket (highest Advance start). Learn the perfect guard (block right as a hit lands) — it's the heart of the game. Build stagger, then land a Fatal Attack. Scale Advance and use an elemental weapon (grab the Electric Coil Stick early) with Acid/Fire grindstones to melt bosses from spear range. Spend Quartz on Pulse Cells for more heals.
Light. Covers the opening and names your first couple of bosses only. For the full route + checklist use the Full Progression tab; for the stat plan, Leveling.
Tally your opening hours as you go. Items marked ↔ shared also live on the Full Progression tracker — tick them in either place and both stay in sync.
Guard or perfect-guard → force a stagger → cash it out with a Fatal Attack. Between windows, poke with the spear and pop a grindstone for elemental melt.
Path of the Cricket is the balanced start with the highest base Advance, so you slide straight into the elemental build. (You can respec later, so it's low-commitment.)
A big, slow, well-telegraphed puppet in Elysion Boulevard. Perfect-guard its combo, build stagger, and land a Fatal Attack. A gentle intro to the guard rhythm.
The first real wall (Krat City Hall). Perfect-guard its heavy overheads, dodge the spinning fan, and punish after big swings — an elemental grindstone chunks it fast. Return to Hotel Krat after to spend Quartz. Scrapped Watchman (wiki)
Push to Venigni Works for the Electric Coil Stick and Fuoco. Switch to Full Progression for the spoiler route + checklist, and Leveling for the Advance stat plan.
Advance is your damage — take it to 60–80. Keep Vitality 40–50 and Vigor 30–40 for survival/stamina, and enough Capacity to stay at light/medium load (fast dodges). Put only what you must into Motivity/Technique for weapon requirements. Assemble the Acidic Crystal Spear + Advance Crank and lean on grindstones. First-run target: roughly Lv 90–120.
Advance/elemental power scales up as you find better elemental gear and grindstones — early on you lean on the weapon itself (Electric Coil Stick) and the Legion Arm, and Advance takes over from the mid-game.
Tick each breakpoint as you hit it. This checklist is LoP-specific and saves as you go.
Lies of P levels a handful of stats via Ergo. For an Advance build, three carry the run.
| Stat | Priority | Target | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Advance | ★★★ | 60 → 80 | Scales elemental (fire/electric/acid) weapons + status. Your main damage stat — melts boss HP. |
| Vitality | ★★★ | 40 → 50 | HP. Keep it climbing so you survive the parry-check bosses. |
| Vigor | ★★ | 30 → 40 | Stamina for guards, dodges and spear combos. |
| Capacity | ★★ | as needed | Equip weight. Enough to stay at light/medium load for fast dodges and quick-step. |
| Motivity / Technique | ★ | weapon reqs | Only enough to meet your weapon's requirement; the Advance Crank shifts scaling off them anyway. |
Around Lv 30, put a few points each into Vitality, Vigor, Advance, and Capacity (Capacity so you can wield your weapon at a good load). By ~Lv 50, have Vitality 20+, then funnel everything into Advance.
| Stretch | Level |
|---|---|
| Elysion → Scrapped Watchman | Lv 1–30 |
| Venigni (Fuoco) → Cathedral (Andreus) | Lv 25–45 |
| Opera (King of Puppets) → Brotherhood | Lv 40–65 |
| Swamp → Exhibition (Victor) | Lv 55–80 |
| Arche Abbey → Nameless Puppet | Lv 70–100 |
| Overture DLC (→ Arlecchino) | Lv 90–120 |
By Nameless Puppet and Overture, a comfortable Advance hunter looks roughly like: Advance 60–80, Vitality 40–50, Vigor 30–40, Capacity for a light/medium load, a fully upgraded elemental weapon, and a stacked P-Organ. That lands around Lv 90–120 — plenty for the finale and the DLC's Arlecchino.
Pair this with the Full Progression tracker to see which chapter fits your level, and First Hours for the perfect-guard rhythm and weapon-assembly basics.
